Something That Confuses Me About RNGineer Recipes

I have a short question about Engineer recipes.

I am very close to gaining grade 5 access with Professor Palin, because I want to equip my Fer-de-Lance with grade 5 Dirty Drives.
However, when I looked at its recipe, it says:

Cracked Industrial Firmware x1
Cadmium x1
Pharmaceutical Isolators x1

However, my question is that, when I looked around YouTube searching about it, I've happened to see the following recipe:

Cadmium x2
Cracked Industrial Firmware x2
Pharmaceutical Isolators x2
Exhaust Manifold x1 (Commodity)

I wonder why my recipe does not match with this other recipe that I found on YouTube.

Have recipes been updated? Or do the recipes change depending on the class of the module that you are willing to upgrade? Please let me know.

Thanks.

PS: The Grade 5 Dirty Drive tuning, the maximum optimal multiplier that I can get for my 5A Thrusters is 23%. There's nothing wrong with that, right?

They have been changed just recently with latest update, and they also have been changed before that once as far as I remember.

The commodities were removed from the blueprints on the last patch (so no need for Exhaust Manifold in this case). Most of the online sites have yet to catch up.

It's about six times easier to use higher grade recipes now than it was around the time Engineers launched.

Used to take two of most materials, plus a commodity, and material drops were in units of one rather than three.

The materials requirements alone make it 6 times easier. When you factor in the commodities then it is more like 10 times. (Which has added gameplay according to many).

Uuum, I have one more question, the last time I checked the Dirty Drive Tuning its max optimal multiplier was 23%

Now that I have checked again it is down to 19%

Why does this happen?

Is the drive already modded? The screen shows relative gain to your current module. On a new module you can go much above 23%.

Oh, does the max multiplier change depending on the Drive's current modifications? I didn't know that, now I understand. Thanks, but by the way, do you know any way of getting rid of a modification on your modules? Can I just get rid of them?

Turns out I can from the Outfitting tab.

Thank you everyone for helping me so much! I will now get my dirty drives.
