Something you might not know about ground missions...

You have a contacts option on your menu wheel. You do need to scaneach person individually for them to show as anything other than "Unidentified Humanoid" but that's just the scan to see who they are - you don't have to go full scan on them. On the Contacts list, there'll be a Details button when you highlight a contact. What you may not know is that it shows you what grade of weapon they have. Don't know if it'll show engineered mods yet (will be checking all contacts on this mission - transport mission so threat 0 BUT high security site so chance of a 5 chevron target - omnipol I think).

For the record, this is the menu wheel I mean - got it bound to TAB on my settings but I think that was a personal preference:

Figured at least some of you weren't aware of the showing weapon grade side of this. Unfortunately it won't let you tag them as targets, but still worth knowing.

This is true, but there is another way for occupied settlements - go to the settlement terminal and mark each occupant, one at a time. It will populate both your contacts list and your radar for you.

That's a good catch though, OP. Gives you some additional info on what the bad guys are sporting. Kudos.

Oh, I'm aware of the terminal method, but I've tried tagging each occupant that way and it still only seems to tag the last one's location for me... will give it another shot in a bit anyway ;)

Yeah, I'm not so much talking about tagging them, I just mean that by tagging each one, they will be a permanent feature on your sensors.
