CQC Sometimes cannot target a ship

Hi All,

Arena/CQC works pretty well for me - other than my lack of skill at it :)

I do sometimes have problems selecting a ship as a target to allow the gimble style affect to occur.
I am guessing this is some sort of instancing problem. Do others get this?

They're either running very cool / using silent running (can't target at all at long range, targetable but weapon autotracking unavailable close up) - most common with Eagles ... or they just picked up the blue stealth powerup (can't be targeted at all unless they've recently shot you)

Thank you Cmdr Doncaster for your feedback. New to Arena/CQC compared to ED. There are subtle differences.

I am guessing the stealth power up then. I could see the target on scanner - had it "centre" on scanner with max zoom (triangle so target had resolved)- had it centred on screen. It had not shot me (at that point).

Thanks for going through the possibles - I will change my "instancing issues" to "good use of power ups".
