Songbirds

Every time I hear the word songbird, I automatically think of our Blackbirds in Germany.
I don't know of any bird that, no matter how unspectacular it looks, has a more beautiful singing than the Blackbird.
Every spring when I see the males perching on the roofs in the morning and in the evening and hear them singing, wonderful. I'm really enjoying it and listening to them so much.
Scientists even found out that Blackbirds sing dialect, which I find pretty funny.

You can hear the singing here:

Probably nothing for the game, but since we are international here and I really like these birds, I wanted to give the Blackbirds a little credit.

Every bird brings something, in my opinion. For example, mockingbirds don't look at that special, but they are known to mimic other birds and random sounds

Considering songbirds fall under the “Frontier please give me more birds” I would say I would be pretty happy. Actually the National Zoo in the USA just opened a new aviary exhibit based around migrating birds, and contains many American songbirds. Considering I’m American I am very partial to the guys I am hearing singing this spring.

I'd be happy with songbirds in-game. Just so long as they are well represented (I'm talking butterfly treatment and multiple DLCs worth of them!) and they are walkthrough exhibit animals. I think the idea of them being in too small of an enclosure is a bit sad...
