Sons of Valour is a community gaming group that is committed to providing a fun and friendly environment in which all people can socialize and enjoy themselves in a fantastic atmosphere. The core idea behind SoV is the respect and honour that we have for each other. Whether we be black, white, young or old, we all share a common interest: gaming. The Clan supports this interest by having our own servers, which provides our members and the general public with excellent servers where they can compete with and against each other. Our members are not exclusively dedicated to one game but are also active participants in a number of other games, styles and platforms.
As a member of the leadership at the Sons of Valour community, i have come here to create a squad or wing of commanders willing to co-operate and work together to achieve better results as a team. I would like to incorporate this squad into our larger community if it is successful. Anyone* of any skill level and or ship will be considered for this role, we have not decided on a faction and or operating area, once we have ourselves established we may look at more long term goals and or alliances. To begin with my ambition is to form a squad of 5-10 wingmates with 1 or 2 leaders who are quite active within the game, and have enough knowledge of the game to guide others.
I personally have been making a decent profit hunting conflict zones and resource extraction sites, living a nomadic lifestyle collecting bounties in my Viper. However space is a vast, lonely and *sometimes* lets face it, boring place. I am keen to get together with some other commanders and share a laugh , bit of banter and at the end of the day, enjoy ourselves.
As much as farming npcs is a good pay off , it does not have the same feeling of an enemy CMDR breathing laser and fire down your backside in combat. I would be interested in live fire training exercises with wingmates to improve dogfighting skills.
To give people an insight to some Rules of Engagement i would be adhering to
Never ignore a wing mates beacon.
Never to abandon a wingmate during battle.
No griefing other CMDR's
Showing mercy to defeated CMDR's , where appropriate.
Not saying we wont pirate, but will do so with honour.
We would be operating and co-coordinating our plans using the voice program TeamSpeak3.

The SoV community at large is currently focused on other games, however i am trying to expand us into the Elite universe, i believe our values and goals are quite compatible and important to maintaining this galaxy!
