On the PlayStation Store website, it says that Jurassic World Evolution will be available 12/31/18. Is this just a mistake by Sony? Or is it the US release date?

I highly doubt it's intentional.
Maybe they put 31.12 there, because the previous release info was "in 2018" and simply hasn't updated it yet. The trailer with the June release date went up merely a week ago.
