Soo, Assassinating not in Strong, Weak or Default?

I've been flying around 3 systems for more than 2 hours now, and I can't find my target due to 2 reasons:

1. It doesn't pop up in neither Strong, Weak or the default USS.
2. The USS in non populated zones come up once every 5 frikkin minutes.

I thought I had to track my target you know, being an assassin or something. Chase across the systems. But instead it ended up with me flying in space throwing dice. I got some guy that told me that they are tracking me and told me to kill my employers, but I figured nah screw that. Now my initial mission briefing is gone and I can't review what was said.

Anyone got any tips or should I just abandon that borefest?

So I should ignore weak and strong?

What about system? Does it matter which system I'm in? I mean I have 3, so if I go to the most populated one can he spawn there? Or is it like, he'll spawn only in one of those 3 systems.

Not sure how this works yet but when you do find him be sure to target their power plant or frameshift drive because they love to run away.

From what I've found so far, weak signal sources contain things like black boxes etc..., strong ones contain wings of ships, pirates or otherwise, unidentified's work pretty much the way they have before. If you're doing assassination missions, ignore strong and weak, just go for USS's as per usual.

I did. Hopefully they'll fix it soon, but I'm not taking any more assassination missions till I hear otherwise.
