Well simple .... YOU MESS UP 90% OF THE TIME with elite, Frontier ... commanders are SICK of all of this... content being canceled or so called postponed, things promised in next updates are being postponed, you know how many times the word soon is written and spoken? not to mention now with the Gnosis Cone Sector Failure, i mean really??? what do you guys do there? poke your nose all the time? does your team even exists out of REAL gamers? or are they just paycheck work drones that have NO IDEA about space game content and how a story, event or space game should be created.

Shame on you and really the word is already out.. Commanders strike will be soon just like back in the day with EVE Online... read my words... we the commanders are done with this pathetic behavior.

You wanted to create a Real Galaxy with real events and real people? well this is a REAL reaction from REAL people ....

I really like the game, im sure everyone does, but enough is enough....

I guess I missed that strike.. Must have had a fun effect on the economy, very lucrative for those who didn't get the notice. Unless it was 90% of the playerbase as I suspect.

But to compare ED to a game that runs healthy after 14 years suggests me that you hold it in very high regard, and you expect Elite to prosper in popularity for a very long time.

... by cancelling their subscriptions? Not going to work in this game.

Pearl Abyss buying CCP may not be a good sign for that game though - as P2W has already caused a furore in Black Desert Online.

I totally get how frustrated you must feel, but...

Nearly every game on the planet has had to postpone new features at some point, and I just don't see Carriers getting pushed back till 2019 as a huge deal, just a minor disappointment.

The Gnosis event was not planned but inspired by the faction request to jump to an unreachable system. Fdev could have just said "no" but instead tried to make something fun out of it. Being the first time they did something like that, I'm not surprised that it had some bumps and was not completely thought through. I do hope they try it again AND learn from this past event.

TLDR; I'm not going to strike as I enjoy playing Elite. That said, I am playing other games more due to the current Elite Dangerous bugs (SRV's on consoles) and issues (new Guardian SLF grind is SP only)

The "how" and the general quality of delivery could be improved upon though.

It's not like the recent major updates were shining beacons of quality; not utter crap, but not great either.
