Not screwed. Just have no access to Beta. Screwed is something very different.
Yeah, access to Horizons beta counts for all the betas during the Horizons Season period.
If you have Horizons you can of course play Engineers when it releases.

Yeah that's what i mean: i want to play the beta, but i can't because i didn't bought Lifetime pack / Beta access pack, because i got to know the game "too late" to buy them.

In a podcast someone (not FD) said that perhaps everybody with Horizons might get beta access to 2.1.
I do not know if this is true.
I myself have access to the beta, but I won't be participating.
I do not enjoy testing and putting in a lot of hours that will just evaporate once I go back to the normal release.

What they meant was that if you have beta access, then you have to go to the store to get the update launcher.
I, like you, didn't get beta access when Horizons first launched, and was disappointed to again discover that they have still not decided to offer it for sale.

I dunno, what is your definition of the word "Screwed" ?
I have many definitions but none of them have anything to do with having to wait a month to play a video game... most of them have to do with an insurmountable situation that I cannot overcome and yet must be overcome for my continued success or existence. One of my definitions involves enjoyment but that requires using the word as a verb not as vast exaggeration of mild disappointment.

I do have season pass Horizons, but i started playing the game too late to have the posibility of being a "beta backer".
