At some point the 'beta pass' for the special snowflakes will have to stop because the numbers of those people testing, or even playing, is a diminishing pool.

Not sure why everyone wants the beta. Your really just paying to play the newest update 2-3 week early.

For me, it's not about early, it's about being able to give feedback while there is still time to see changes. Say what you will, but Frontier's past actions show that once a patch is out its mechanics may not get touched for a long, long time.

They may still not respond to feedback, but beta is clearly the time to give it. Especially if one listens to their responses on livestreams about questions regarding balance.
