Sorbago civil war.

I was the last one leaving the Imperial ship, after I jumped out, the conflict zones dissapeared. Took the time to inspect the captial ship. It is quite a beauty and lots of details. The cannons retract, too. There are two docking bays and even ladders to mount the main cannons. Good work FD.

The victory should've been a news entry, though.

Good news - I landed in Durius and I still have my Ascension mission! I guess my Imperial 'points' were higher than I thought - especially after losing two Sorbago contracts and abandoning the previous Liaison mission.

Gonna call it a day for now anyhow, I'll head into the fray tomorrow and kill some Federal/Indy scum! [Hopefully, by that time, my HOTAS will be here!]

To be honest, I think this victory was to easy.
Most cmdrs joined the Imperial Interdictor's side, because it's the safest choice. :p
Big battleship covering your back, and enemies have a huge masslock if they want to run off into SC.

I think the other side should have a Cap ship spawning in as well.
Or at least a bunch of Anaconda's and Type9flyingturretofhells, if they can't afford the big ones yet.
Then make them circle each other.

on a sidenote, this Sorbago scenario was a big hit to my soundcard (Soundblaster X-Fi) > everytime, it struggled the 1st couple of mins after getting in.
So 2 Cap ships might be a bad idea for now?

Where the Imperial fleet is required now?

I must say im getting bored fast without pvp interaction...and Sorbago was an Imperial zerg swarm.

Big swing today here, good job players involved. At least this is proof that the system is somewhat working.

BUT take in mind the characteristics of the system (big support by neighbour empire systems and small population). Regardless, gj.

I saw it tonight when I logged in nice job all, I also took part and fought in the combat zones and tried to keep the trade flowing into the stations such as food, weapons, medicine and what not. Going to work on my imperial ranks some more and then head to Durious to lend my support for the Empire.

It was the Empire vs a slave rebellion. Where should the slaves get a capital ship from? It was a brutal throw down of a rebellion as you would expect it. The conflict is way to static, though. If you have to jump into the conflict it takes away the danger. You would not notice there was a war going on outside of the conflict zones.
There is a massive amount to do for FD to make this not just a great looking game for the holidays.

I enjoy the game, some of the pals I was playing with are already bored.
