Sorbago slave quest - have I been doing it wrong?

Hi all,

Just read the latest newsletter and got a bit confused.

I wanted to get involved with the Senator Torvals slave Underground Railroad (freeing slaves). Here is how I saw it based on galnet in-game:

Take on missions from synteini or other systems mentioned to get slaves OR buy slaves as commodities and smuggle them into synteini (which has high demand for reg slaves). Then they get converted into imp slaves and sold on.

But just read this in newsletter:

"Her wealth is built on slavery, and from the 26 million credits claimed by Commanders willing offer Sorbago’s slaves the ‘opportunity’ of a better class of slavery in the Empire via Mastopolos Mining Inc’s links with the Senator it looks like she is gaining traction."

So was I supposed to get imperial slaves from sorbago and deliver to synteini?

I'm really confused by the contradiction between galnet and this newsletter!

I thought I was helping railroad slaves out to a better life but I may have just been a lowlife slaver!!

CLARITY please anyone!!??

I believe I read somewhere in one of the newsletters that galnet is coloured by the local authority and it is more then possible to find contradictory information depending on which system you are in. Obviously the propoganda machine in action.
