My communications array was down, and my attempts to pirate were unclear. i tried to signal you with my cargo scanner, but you seemed to take it as a threat and decided your best course of action was to fire upon me. I assure you i had no intent of causing you or your ship physical harm, and i would have easily left with a fair portion of your rare goods. Sadly things did not play out the way either of us saw it, i shot your thrusters out and you had no choice but to self destruct. Maybe next time we can come to an agreement so you don't have to loose it all. Maybe there is a chance you will read this, and if you do, know that even if i pirate you again, i do not mean you initial harm.
