We are all very happy, that ancient egypt invented the alphabet. Otherwise - no letters, no forum.
Sometime later, around 1000 BCE northwest semitic scribes invented alphabetic orders. The library of alexandria started our alphabetic order around 300 BCE. It's a crazy effective concept - i don't know whether you know it. In a catalogue of things, for exampel of commodities, you don't order them randomly ("Tiolce Waste2Paste Units, Indite, Indium, Thargoid Resin, Aepyornis Egg...") but in literally the alphabetic order some people learn at schools: A, B, C ... or in this exampel: "Aepyornis Eggs, Indite, Indium, Thargoid Resin, TiolceWaste2Paste".
If you don't know the concept of alphabetic order, i recommend looking it up. It has a crazy effect on usability of your catalogue of things. A user does not need to scroll through all threehundred something different commodities and read every line, if they look for Gold in their fleetcarriers inventory, but they know that Gold will come after Commodities starting with F, and before Commodities starting with H - if that user has learned alphabetic order, for exampel at school. It's pure magic, very advanced stuff.
I suggest you use alphabetic order in the inventory transfer tab.
