So i am duke but passenger missions are nerfed what are my options? i want to try and buy the chieftain also i want to upgrade my clipper buy a orca and maybe in the future the cutter but i am stucked with low payd passenger missions i will explore maybe ?ina type 6 cheap fast 25ly jumprange iff anyone out there knows some good passenger payd missions or cargo missions let me know give me a helping hand my bank account is 700000cr like nothing to buy nothing to afford this is a distress call to all commanders out there thank u .:x

Cargo missions can be profitable. Reality is that passenger missions have been borked since the 2.4 release: too many VIP trips, too much pay, etc.
But if the 3.0 beta is an indicator, payouts should be much better in the release. Instead of spreading rewards between credits, influence, and materials, you pick one that you really want. So instead of getting say 200k CR, some influence, and some commodities, you can take 350k CR with minimal influence and little or no commodities.
And as a tip, if you want the Cutter, it's a good idea to get the T9 first to start doing larger shipping missions. A few areas will pay up to 2mil per mission and you can stack them.

Here's one option.
Get the largest freighter you can afford, kit it all out with a cargo racks and a half decent fuel scoop. Fill your cargo hold with basic medicines, head to the Merope system, Reeds rest, the station is in crisis so they will pay a high price for your meds, 500T will make you around 4 mill.
Now that you in the Pleiades Nebula, head next door to the Maia system, dock at either Darnielle's Progress or Maia point, the faction Hagglebeard's Heroes offer haulage missions paying up to 7 million for 180 tonnes, 1 hop trip, load up as many as you can. Initially you will need to do some lower paid missions to gain rep with them.
When Beta goes live we will have high paying multi trip missions.

I have an ideea what iff we had a SOS button inside the ship and when we are encountered by an thargoid ship my friends respond to the distress call or maybe the alliance will help me to deal with this alien what do u think?
