For me the " non-player voice communication volume" and the " Wave scanner volume" are not high enough. I can't heard them as loud as I want them to be.

Anybody with similar issues? Somebody got a fix? if not, I might report this as a bug.

Try turning all the other sound eliments down to 1/4 or below and turn up your speakers or headphones by quite a lot.

I think the ship voice "frame-shift drive charging" etc. has been turned down on the 2.3 drop.

To me it sounds as if they turned down the "dry" (non-effected) signal in the mix and left the "wet" (effected signal) as it was so you get plenty of the fx but the result is the voice is swamped by the FSD spinning up toward countdown/h-jump. The "dry" signal needs to be cranked back up +1db or +2db or so to get a good balance in the overall audio mix.

Also "fuel scoop disengaged" seems to have disappeared from the end of a scooping run at a star (perhaps that was intentionally removed by the 2.3 update?). (Bug mayhap?).

Im getting bgm and everything else is real quiet. Tried changing settings. Even reset 5.1 surround. Get great sound on other games but just not on ED

For me it working perfectly fine. The 5.1 is really good. Im really loving it.

Its just those 2 settings i mentioned aren't loud enough to my likings.

I'm not using 5.1 just stereo. Also I'm using stereo closed-back headphones and not speakers so the audio rendering of the sound-stage in stereo is pretty accurate.

Il do full reset in min. Just got to dock at patterson. Just got my sirius permit at last not gona stop til i make dock

Good call Dusty, the scanner is definitely too quiet now, noticed this a couple of nights ago while hunting for Arsenic. I hope they adjust this.
