Sounds while riding a coaster

Hi!

First of all: I think the sounds are great (as the coasterlover I am). Specially when the trainset "releases" from the chain at the top of the hill...that "clonk"-sound you got there[up][up]

My only question is if it's possible to add sound of the airblow letting out of the breakingsystem after the train has past it.
I'm shure you know what I mean....[yesnod]

If not, my English is not top launch...So I have to try harder...[haha]

Thanks for the compliment, much appreciated!

Yes, we are still working on audio in Planet Coaster. We have done a first pass and in some cases that first pass uses "placeholder" audio.
Our first priority is to provide proper feedback on anything that is still silent and then we need to make sure we also support everything new that goes into the game.

Once we have sound on everything and have replaced all place-holder audio; I'll have a look at things like the brake-systems : )

The thing with those is that it requires some extra code-support to detect that a coaster is no longer on them after it has just been using the brakes.
This might seem trivial, but there's certain situations where that can break and the sound would happen at the wrong time, or not at all.
As such, I can't simply put a recording of that sound on there, without having some new logic also.

Thanks Matt,

Just as an FYI, the magnetic brakes on the Sprint 500 coaster make the sounds of friction breaks! I;m sure this will be taken care of, but just wanted to point that out.

I'm looking forward to Alpha 3, and what you have "in the bag" with it's release later in August!

All I can say is I really think this is a game worth waiting for!!
