Here I present my favorite idea of all for a future planet zoo dlc, the south america animal pack. The animals are selected by: Position in the wishlist, popularity and possibilities in the game, so this would be the most likely pack. A canine, an ursid, a sloth, a feline, a bird, a marmoset, a procyonid and a snake, a perfect combination. I have also ruled out the black howler monkey and spider monkeys despite being much loved, for giving it somewhat fresh species for the game and very unique.

This is pretty much ideal aside from the lack of the mara and a second monkey, but I also wouldn't want to drop any of these species to make room. Maybe if the sloth doesn't work out after all... but at this point I'm almost fully expecting it. They made koalas "work", they made diving work, they made gibbons work... I'm certainly not opposed to a sloth, but I do think it's not going to look great in practice.
I would love more South American Species, but I doubt we will get another South America pack. It will more likely be spread to another packs.
But just for fun:
I would love to see other species such as peccaries, armadillos or ocelots, but I am not too hopeful to see them all.

Also the animals left out could easily come in other packs.
Mara and souther screamer in a grassland, pudu in a temperate or dwarf pack, howler, tamandua and agouti in a tropical pack, peccary in a desert and we got a really solid line up.

I bolded the species that I think are essential and starred a few unessential favorites. They are roughly in the order of perceived importance (to me). I added the wishlist numbers. When I walk down in groups of five, this feels right, even though I'm not a fan of a couple of the middle ones.

Very strong roster for a pack. So strong that I feel like it might steal animals from other possible packs.
That's why I wanted to bump a few. Maned wolf would be the highest profile grasslands carnivore. Andean Bear would be a centerpiece for mountains. We need at least 3 SA monkeys though I would wish for twice as many. I don't like the idea of cramming more than one from SA into a tropical/rainforest pack. This pack would really need at least two. However, if we only get two more packs as some think, it would be very strong.
