South America & Australia Animal Pack

(sorry if someone already made a similar thread, I didn't feel like going through all the past posts to see if this was already an idea someone had)
So I had this idea after the Southeast Asia Animal Pack was announced: What if another animal-only pack came out, but it included the animals left out of the South America and Australia packs? Basically, South America would get 3 new animals (because Giant Otter and Dwarf Caiman were in the Aquatic Pack) and Australia would get 4, and then both continents would get 1 exhibit animal each. Here's the animals I think this pack would probably include:
  • Capybara
  • Maned Wolf
  • Black (or Red) Howler Monkey
  • Tasmanian Devil
  • Emu
  • Matschie's Tree Kangaroo or Bennet's Wallaby
  • Common Wombat
  • Green Anaconda (exhibit)
  • Frilled Lizard (exhibit)
So yeah, this is my idea for a new pack. Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forums.

Although I would love to have all those animals, I prefer that they come through different packs instead of another pack on the same theme. There are many regions that haven't been covered by DLC. After all, South America got three new animals in the aquatic pack, but it also brought an animal from north America/Europe. This kind of pack including animals from new areas is better than a pack focusing again in the same areas.

I'm definitely not opposed to a revisit combo pack for Australia and South America. But maybe not until we get another year or so in to the game. Let's get some more North American and African animals, some avian animals, and some European animals first.

The Capybara and the Tasmanian Devil seem to be the most requested animals from those continents. SO those two definitely, and I greatly want Wombats and Sloth in the game, the latter possibly as exhibit due to their slow moving nature. As long as they made it in, I'd be fine with the other choices, but ideally I'd like to see

Capybara, Ocelot, Maned Wolf, Sloth (exhibit)
Common Wombat, Emu, Tasmanian Devil, Frilled Lizard (not as exhibit as per the point @Fossa made. Though I guess if Frontier really wanted to put them in as exhibits it wouldn't be that upsetting.

I want the platypus more than some of these, but for some reason I think they won't make it in the game at all and the other animals are much more high profile.

Did platypus appear in any other zoo-game at all? Really a shame, they are so freaking special and awesome!

I'm against an European pack actually, as most of the interesting animals from europe are also from America, and the others are small creatures like the Hoopoe bird, Bearded Vulture and some insects/fish, but the other animals aren't interesting at all.
Chamois being the big exeption, but they are also from New Zealand/Australia so there.

I haven't played every zoo game, but I kept a list of all the animals in the games that were worth keeping lists for (except the original Zoo Tycoon since there's no runnable copy that I could find since I started this list). The platypus appeared in both Wildlife Park 2 and 3 but that's the only ones I found it in.

ZT2013 & WF park 3 did.

I'm kinda against revisiting themes, some animals could be placed in a more interesting themes. Austalia and SA already got attention, other themes should also get a shot of some attention.
Games don't usually revisit themes because people in general don't like it.

For me, the suggested animals in OP would be a pass, or a 70% discount purchase.
The capybara and a monkey species would be a good addition to the game but 3 marsupials in 1 pack and another canine species - thats a bit too much :D.

Ooh, sorry. I have the complete collextions for both ZT games. Where are the lists? Did you post them?

I have not. It's just something I did for me a while back even before Planet Zoo came out. I'm a bit OCD, and lists are one of the more things I get caught up in doing.
Oh, I totally understand. I am also a sucker for organizing things and lists. If you ever post them, then I may start up my old discs and check the official animals on them and add them to the thread
