SPACE COW VS SPACE EMO

Now I know this isn't my place as I haven't used either of these ships...but shouldn't the almighty space cow, the type 9. A dedicated hauling ship, vs the cutter. 500 to 728 or something like that in terms of storage. I just don't understand why a more multi role ship is better at storage then the storage ship!

Because the Cutter is not only insurmountably larger, but it is also extravagantly more expensive?

That's like asking why a Cobra can carry more cargo than a Hauler.

Good point, although I just find it useless

How is it useless? The Type 9 is a good trade ship to earn you the credits to buy a Cutter. If bulk A-B-A trading is your thing, Type 9 gets you into big volume haulage sooner since it's massively cheaper than the Cutter. It even beats the tonnage of an Anaconda, which is more expensive.

Besides the Cutter being more than thrice the Price, available only to those with Imperial Rank, and the Type 9 intended to be the largest of the Trading ships?

As people have mentioned it is like comparing the Cobra to the Hauler.
