Space Farms

Space farms are great way to raise the quality of life in a system. But would their agricultural influence negatively affect the colony commodities that are supplied by industrial, refinery, or high-tech? Or anything from an extraction economy (even though those don’t supply any colony commodities).

Extraction and Refinery are fairly safe on the export side - the only export they produce which Agricultural imports is Biowaste, and losing the occasional source of that still leaves plenty of others.

Industrial and High-Tech you probably will lose quite a few of their exports to Agricultural, including some which are needed for onward colonisation, though it depends how much Agricultural and which exports you care about, of course.

OK, so as I’m looking through the list of facilities that could be built to increase the quality of life, now I’m not sure which of these is good in an industrial or high tech system if space farms are not good. It’s very complicated Trying to figure out what is good in economy A and C but not in B and D.

A Government Installation is +7 standard of living with no economic influence. Given how little effect standard of living seems to have on anything, and that most industrial/high-tech constructions don't affect it negatively, a single one of those probably gives you enough to normalise your state sliders without needing to touch it again.
