Space needs tunes

Wouldn't space truckers and explorers have some decent tunes in their cab. Surely they would have a few radio stations and maybe even a classic rock station playing the old tunes. I'd love a GTA type radio in my cab.

It would be nice to have an in game player. For myself I use voice attack and just map music to spoken commands. I haven't decided if I want to put in some badass combat music when I deploy hardpoints.

Windows media player controlled in the background via voice attack. Works perfectly for me, ain't no fun jumping to light speed without a good song playing in the background ;)

Another option as mentioned above, you can also tell Voice attack to play a specific band or song. Still I prefer using VA to control Media player, I can tell it to pause/skip tracks/ replay etc.

This has to be a possible future iteration of the Galnet service, right?! Audio feeds that update as events in the galaxy change, that kind of thing. Maybe even faction specific. Stick in a bit of future Techno or space Country and Bob's your uncle. :)

you should be able to start a radio station and link relays through multiple star systems so players can hear you

Yeah or give us the possibility to stream music, so others could listen to it while in the same system. Would be awesome

I shall mostly be listening to Sisters of Mercy albums, as that's what I used to listen to while playing the original. Though hall of the mountain king from Frontier would still go down well

Space is filled with audiobooks for me. The long stretches of "immersive" supercruising is conducive to enjoying various fictional treats. I'm working through Bleak House right now.
