Space requirement not present when terrain needs are turned off - bug or feature?

I have space requirements enabled and I don't see any space requirements ín animal tab. Everything is just grey.
You mean terrain? I don't see different optons for terrain and space, but when I turn off terrain there is no space requirements anymore and everything is grey.
Did you add to the issue tracker?

I mean the space category:

Now I've found out that overcrowding settings change this? Why? I don't want animals to feel overcrowded (to have more hyenas), but I still want to be able to see their requirements.
I get what you mean by terrain and yes, I agree, I think even with setting turned off, you should be able to see the info. With age turned off, you can see age of the animals, so why to hide this, I guess.

In that case overcrowding and space are probably linked intrinsically, since space requirements change depending on how many animals are in the habitat, and how many animals are in the habitat has a welfare cap (i.e. a max limit). That's my theory at least. So it won't calculate the requirements with overcrowding turned off, since with overcrowding turned off the space probably doesn't matter.

Yeah, but now I don't even know if they require climbing or water or how deep water etc. Well... only to calculate it by myself from zoopedia.
I would thought that overcrowding disables population welfare, not space requirements...

If you hover the cursor over the button in Sandbox Options, it actually says that it disabled space requirements.
