Space Sim Gaming Help

Hi Everyone

I need a little help from the community to help compile a list of links or just references to other space sim style projects so I can get them listed on my website Space Sim Central.

I have a fair amount of space sims, remakes, mod sites, mmos and indie games listed but could use a bit more help in finding more. This will be a great resource for everyone interested in space games in general. Any feedback on the list is welcomed to in the way of categorizing entries or how it's displayed. (SSC Links Area)

So if people can leave there feedback in this post http://www.spacesimcentral.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&p=680 it would be appreciated or just create your own. At SSC I am trying to cover the latest and most popular games in the space sim genre and hopefully create a nice hub for people to discuss all the games in general. I have also started a wiki that (in time) will document most of the space sims that have been created as well.

Thanks rgmarett. I can't believe I forgot that one on my list I will add it on my next update. If people see any other games, projects or mods that need to be added please let me know and I will put them on the list.

Would Oolite be classified as a remake or a community based game?

I think you'd classify it as a remake although there is a big community involved through the OXP (Oolite expansion packs) - I've even done a few new ship designs myself. In fact, why not show off my work here whilst I'm at it:

As far as Elite remakes go this is probably the best one out there. There is a screenshot thread in the forum http://aegidian.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=4494 might be worth starting on the last page and working backwards though.

I added those links to my list. Getting a good amount of links and the list is coming out great.

How could I have forgotten Conquest: Frontier Wars. I have the CD in my collection :) That game deserved a sequel personally.

I have known about Oolite for sometime but never got around to trying it. That new version 1.73 looks pretty damn good. Look forward to trying it.
