Gibson La Lisa in LHS 1071 is named after Shaun Gibson (soon to be published author in Fantastic Books Publishing's next Sci-Fi anthology due out this year) and his wife Mariangela La Lisa. Ooh that'd be me!!

There are many Feynman, Dawkins, Filippenko, Boltzmann and many more i have noticed on my travels. Must admit Filipenco was mildly surprising as he's not exactly a massive name in cosmology but i know him from the history channel and i think he did a royal society Christmas lecture one year.

Almost forgot Heisenberg.... strange that they would add a Meth kingpin.

Hey if there's a Filippenko dock, that's wonderful! He's a well-known professor from Berkeley that has published many papers about supernovae. You should get a hold of his Teaching Company astronomy lectures if you can find them.

I spotted a Scalzi Dock. Can't remember where as it was just a random fuel stop on a rare run. And I'm sure I've seen a Heinlein something or other somewhere as well.

NOW I understand what you said in some other thread about making that station your home! I thought it was an unusual choice, seeing as there isn't much outfitting or a strong commodities market there! But that is so cool. You have your own station in LHS 1071!
