Space Structures with Tunnels.

So, I've visited a few of the CQC assets in the game, and they're fun.
But it got me thinking, what if we had bigger, more complex structures, with tunnels?

They could be just big enough for the smaller ships, or you could send your SLF in too.
Then, they can work very similar to planetary settlements, in forms of;
Basic defence- Various turrets on the inside.
Shielded Doors- like on settlements.
Data points- scan these for data.
Terminals- scan these to lower interior shields or open doors, disable turrets, etc.
Shield generators- blow up to disable shields.
Cargo holds- rooms with various floating cargo or materials to collect (not SLF compatible).

Then, you can also have missions to do these activities.

If you've ever played Descent, you'll roughly know what I mean.
But basically an interior maze to find your way around in.

Some might be active, some hostile, some free to roam, others abandoned with no lights.
All the interesting stuff that's targetable should only be targetable at very close ranges, to prevent you simply scanning the data points from the outside. Lol
