I was drifting a bit today (inside my head), and started thinking about what I'd think would be awesome to see in a universe such as Elite: Dangerous if ever there would be a courtesy representation of classic fiction ships from other franchises. I know it will not happen, but sometimes I like to think the "what if"s.
A few surfaced right away as my favorites, and are mentioned below. I would love to see you build on it.
What ships and/or space stations would you love to fly or visit if you could?
First of all, and this should not come as a surprise, I would love to fly my own Millennium Falcon. Call me a dunce, I don't care!
And while we are on the genre of smuggler cargo ships, I would have to add the beloved Firefly! Oh yea 
I have always loved the Battlestar Galactica franchise, so the Viper - the BG Viper - is an obvious choice
And because I am a real Sci-Fi Geek I am not ashamed to admit I love the White Star from Babylon 5; I mean come on; shouldn't we have figured out the whole organic biometal thing by now?
And while we are on B5, the Babylon 5 space station itself is practically in the same design family as the Space Stations in the game already
