Spaceport hailing

Hi,

This is just a small complaint, but since we are able to change the ships ID in game, I was surprised that when arriving at a spaceport it still uses a standard hailing consisting of your ships manufacturer and the first letters of your name. For instance, my Dolphin is named the "Heart of Gold", ID: JB-HOG. I would like to be hailed using this ID.

since it is not a question of voice recording (it is possible to write anything), Frontier can not save our ship ID in a proper language without saving them one by one.

it must be the device that makes the reading.

it's usually a very robotic voice, absolutely abnormal and without accent, in my opinion it's not a good idea, in any case the technology is still too simplistic for a good result.

very unlikely that Frontier would waste time with this idea, which I think is very difficult to do well, even if the idea is not bad.

in any case not with "Heart of Gold" but with the ID : "JB-HOG" why not if each letter and number and says one after the other.

Right now i get hailed as "Lakon Juliet Uniform Lima" I guess thats'the first three letters of Julius. If so they can easily replace this with "Juliet Bravo - Hotel Oscar Golf" for instance. As I see it the different letters will all be available in-game.

in many games it is possible to name his character (in writing), but I have never seen the risk of calling us vocally by our name, big laugh in perspective.

It's just that what you just said it's unlikely was shown last night and it works pretty great. No offense.

last night ? (translator lol).. I do not feel offended, but if this vocal technology is so well master why not put it into play.

Being hailed by the ID is an option in the coming update. You can test that tomorrow ;)

as much as I think I'd want to have this enabled, my one ship named ('-')7 would be really annoying to hear as "Parenthesis-SingeQuote-Dash-SingleQuote-Parenthesis-Seven" :D

translator,

yesterdays yes, with the galnet, I hear even in German, if it is this technology used.

but as Bicarbon8 writes, there is little chance of seeing this for the random names we can write.

yes but, it is not obvious, it's always the first three characters, I do not expect to hear the name of the commander in full,

I think the devellopeurs hesitate and I understand them, in any case, the identifier and the name must be approved in full in order to be heard as it is.

I admire the work of the devellopeurs they dare things.
