*Disclaimer* This is my first post. I'm sorry if it's unstructured and/or in the wrong spot!
Hello All! Seeing as this is a Space game, I figured there'd be a few people that might find interest in this!
These pictures were taken back in June, 2014, when SpaceX's DragonV2 was first released for public view and not just pictures (Invitee only event), in Washington, DC. Attached are Interior, exterior, and samples of various places inside... Including One of my friend and I, as we were two of the FIRST (Out of about 60-100 people at the time) to have sat inside, and be completely closed in, and strapped up. Unfortunately, we didn't have pictures of the last because of the limited space once the door was shut. We had sat in it before the astronauts that will ride in it into space did. Everything was completely functional, from the life support, to the control panel, and statistics screen, which was also a fully operating touchscreen, but had a "simulation" program running, showing how it would work and what would be shown if you used the various switches, or touch screens. It will hold 5 individuals on its voyage. While there, I met the head systems engineer, Head propulsion engineer, and a few others while at the event. I don't know if anything has been shown about this on the forum. I searched, and only found a youtube video post, so I thought, why not introduce myself (Below), and show off a few pictures!
And now, for my short introduction!
I honestly have no idea on how to do one....
Well, I have been following Elite: Dangerous since I first saw the Kickstarter, but I never funded it. (Boy, am I bummed I didn't!) I actually just recently purchased it, and since that day, I've convinced a few other friends to this game, and they've instantly gone home and bought it! I frequently prowl the forums, and read, but I have never posted! I actually just registered for the forums! I will say, despite everyone's issues with the game, or their displeasure they express, I enjoy the game a lot, and am happy to see how it develops over time. Right now, despite everything, I really enjoy bounty hunting in my Viper in game, which seems to be my go-to activity. I'll be picking up mining next, and then trading after that! I will also say that I went out and bought an X52 Pro, and TrackIR for this game... Best decisions ever for me in this game so far! Haha I don't see myself going anywhere, even if I am a huge RPG fan, I've always had a soft spot for Space Sim games, and I study and read up on all things dealing in and with astronomy. I have many hobbies, too, of which I doubt anyone would care to know.
Anywho, I'm CMDR Danissl, but you can also call me Brandon.
If you all have any questions or comments, let me know!
Hope to see you all in game!
