Astronomy / Space SpaceX landing

Exactly, Zeeman. When I see the anchors at CNN smirk at this and say "Another failed attempt", all I can think of is the fact that Elon is doing the coolest thing in the world, and nothing they do throughout their entire life will ever even come close to this (failed) attempt. And yes, he'll succeed.

Oh and nevermind that the actual mission was a complete success. So the "bonus" objective failed. Boohoo. They'll make it work next time. And then, the commercial operations of NASA and ESA are gonna be in trouble. Launch prices will drop sharply.

I think it was Neil Degrasse Tyson that pretty much summed it up.

This is not a failure
Giving up is failure!

But with Elon Musk at the helm, I am really not concerned at all. The guy is a natural!

The rumor that I'm building a spaceship to get back to my home planet Mars is totally untrue
If this works, I'm treating myself to a volcano lair. It's time.

His twitter quotes are awesome. And his twitter avatar is a guy with a white cat on his arm. Makes his volcano lair tweet all the more relevant.

Also for the record, sitting in a Tesla Model S will ruin other cars for you, forever.
