Spansh

Yep. It's still better than what they've given us in the game, with more options for tweaking (such as how far out of the way do you want to allow it to go for those neutrons? Or what's the exact difference in jumps between using neutrons or not?).

The in-game feature is more limited.

Though the in-game plotting algorithm uses all neutron stars and spansh uses registered ones in EDSM.

EDIT:

Pros: The neutron jumps are part of the route so no need to input system names.
No need to exit the game to see the route.
Automatic input of jump range.
More stars and neutron stars available for the route.
First discovery possibility.
White Dwarfs supercharge included.
No posibility to get stuck.

Cons: Lack of "Efficiency" percentage parameter.
No option to plot from an arbitrary position (the route begins where you are located).

Interesting question. Using Spansh right now for my Bubble -> Colonia -> Sag A -> Bubble trip. Very useful, but obviously just a limited set of systems is included.

Perhaps someone here can answer my data collection mission question: I've a passenger on board who wants to get back within 4 weeks. In the mission description it states that she is laid back regarding delays. What is the highest acceptable delay for such a passenger to still get the mission reward and how much less do you get in this case?

I sadly don't know that answer since I don't do passengers at all, I just like to take my time. Either way, 4 weeks using the neutron highway should be plenty for the trip.

Sorry, but "Laid back" does not mean they will not be extremely unhappy if you are actually late. "Delays" does not mean "lateness", "Delays" means "other intermediate stops that aren't on their own personal list of destinations". So you can stop off wherever you like enroute for refuelling and repairs and/or do missions for other people first, and they won't care about the "delay". But they'll still cancel the mission if you dare to be one second past the four-week deadline.

They'll cancel it right away? What a shame, then I am in quite a rush ;) Next time I probably won't take a passenger with me during an exploration trip... Thanks for the answers!
