Hardware & Technical Spare monitor. Any ideas for ED?

I upgraded my 22 inch monitor to a 27 inch. I'm wondering whether I could find a use for the old monitor in some way in ED. The only idea I have so far is having a browser open on it but that doesn't really enhance the game.

Any suggestions?

Get another PC to have an alt account on / constant access to external data

or

Get another 22" monitor to have a triple monitor cockpit (gfx card permitting)

Thanks but another pc and another monitor is out of the question. The aim is just to display something (perhaps a UI screen?) on one minitor to enhance the experience rather than selling/binning the monitor.

Dual screen means you can have Elite fullscreen and manage your pc and skype/netflix on the other

You really need three screens to make it worth going multi-monitor fullscreen.

You might not need a second PC to run a second instance of ED with a different account. WoW allowed for multiboxing. You could also set the "background fps" rate to reduce cpu load. But I dunno how multiboxing for ED could work.

Usually I have movies / TV series or youtube news videos queued up on my second monitor while playing a "relaxed game".
