I have a spare rig I fished out of a skip a few years ago that i gutted and rebuilt and I have a spare monitor but I have no idea what to do with it, my internet is not good enough to make a server out of it. Just looking for any suggestions as to what I could do with it, let your imaginations run free

Depends how old it is. I just tried making a SteamOS box for fun, but that implies some level of graphical capability. Maybe a dedicated MAME system perhaps? Or otherwise a DOS/Win9x era retro gaming box?

Its probably a 2000-2001 era case but all the internals are from my old rigs so it would run games like crysis 1 and such so SteamOS box sounds like a good idea.
