So I shoved an I Fighter in my Conda and have found a decent bit of entertainment by flying the I Fighter against my own ship in an effort to keepa safe position behind it. When the mothership is set to follow it always wants to try and face you making you work to maintain position.
The problem I am having though is it's actually a serious struggle to maintain a rear position. The I Fighter is one of the most agile ships in the game, the conda is supposed to be one of the most sluggish. I just don't feel as if I should be having this much trouble with it, maxed pips in engines as well the whole time with 7D thrusters in my conda unmodded.
So I guess my question is, will big ships like the conda have their maneuver stats looked at and reworked? I feel like only the T9 has the most appropriate agility. And it's not necessarily the max turn/yaw/pitch rate that's the issue, but how quickly they all reach those maximums. Anyone not near the center of the axis should be turned into paste (lookin at you conda nose bridge)
And before you say "don't nerf", I wouldn't want just a straight up nerf to any ship. Rather I would want to decrease the agility while increasing either offensive or defensive capabilities, or both. I really just want big ships to feel....big (which is why I love the T9). Right now they feel more like bloated small ships to me.
