Horizons spawning inside planets and bases BUG FINALLY KILLED ME

So after buying into the new season I have tried to enjoy the whole planetary thing
though everytime I logon I am stuck inside something

Today I logged on and the base just decided I was assaulting it and let rip

HILARIOUS!
I opened a ticket ofcourse because well all I did was log on
pfffffffff

If it happens, log out and back in using the regular ED 32bit or 64bit and you'll spawn in orbit.
Then you can return to using ED:H.

I got my Annie stuck between 2 large structures cos of this bug.
But I wiggled my way out. Lol

yea except that tha station said ASSAULT opened up and everytime I log on I get the insurance screen.
I actually discovered the work around you mentioned.
I wonder if anyone else encountered this bug though...
From my regular playgroup of eight people most got fed up and went to play farming simulator (something with mining and bases) of all
things(the dark side!)...and now I just cant play because of this.

None of the player group I am in have reported spawning inside a base when starting the game and being immediately attacked. Are you wanted?

I constantly respawn inside the base structure in Cubeo - Roskam Enterprise since the last update. Every single time I start the game. I load up, go into Open, and am instantly inside the structure undocked. Consistently repeatable. They haven't shot at me yet... and I have been able to leave the structure vertically. I suspect if I stay for any length of time, or try to move horizontally.. I'd eventually get shot at. I filed a bug with logs. Seriously annoying.

So... whenever I want to play the game: I log in, get bugged. Fly out of structure and potentially risk death.. or relog. Dock. Then I can finally pick up my missions and actually play the game. If I want to stop playing for a while, I exit to menu.. knowing darn well that when I enter the game again, I'll need to work around the bug again. The alternative is to keep the game on while docked.. obviously blocking a landing bay from other players. Switching to solo here doesn't work friends... when I switch back to Open.. the bug hits again on log-in.

With each new release, seems like new bugs are introduced... while the older bug count doesn't reduce.

I'll be honest.. I haven't played at all this past week. I'm planning to maybe sit out for a while and wait for 2.1. But I'm expecting new features with new bugs, with old bugs still sitting around. I hope I'm wrong. I really do.

I got two issues that occur rather frequently now :

- spawn outside of the Hangar (undocked) in some weird position, sometimes in the middle of the base, sometimes stuck over some Pad (Loiter Warning - Emergency Log-out)
- landed on a Planetary Base, but upon being released for Launch I find my Thrusters never engage (Pad Loiter Warning -> Emergency Log-Out)

I wonder how this happen, it is quite weird, and at least for me hasn't happened since beta, got to wonder what triggers it seems to be very rare.

something that happens every time we logon is not rare
I think it is quite rare that you do not experience this bug tbh
seriously annoying.....haven't been able to play for a day because of it now
as I needed to have my save restored

It is peculiar that it seems to happen to some players and not to others. I've spawned inside a base (actually inside the structure beneath the landing pad) exactly once and it was in my Anaconda at the weekend. It was also only the second time I landed the conda on a planet. Based on that, your screens and your vid in which you're in a T7, the first thing we can say is that it seems to be predominantly a large ship issue, which probably explains why some players aren't seeing it at all.

It's obviously to do with the positioning of the spawn point relative to the pad - game spawns you in too low so that your ship breaks the clipping and won't 'sit' on the surface plane.

it gets even weirder.
with my restored ship I landed at a planet base
went for a spin in the srv
had to go to sleep logged off
next day I drove back to the base
requested docking
then as I entered my garage my ship was destroyed.
:(
I didn't even get to board it
-contacted the awesome support team again
I think in my case this is a severe game stopping bug as I have been unable to play for 2 days now.

Just an observation (could be wrong, but what's the impression I get so far) :

Could it be that only Large Ships (Large Pads?) are affected on Planetary Bases?
Despite having numerous accounts of these issues in a Corvette, Clipper or Anaconda - I can't recall a single case where this ever happened to me in a small or medium Ship.

Reviewed my original Bug Report and all the other Players chiming in...
All I can see is : large Ships being affected (?)

Is it mode related at all? Open/group/solo?

Same issue happened to me in my cutter. Client crashed while docked at a planetary base. Logged back in, and I was stuck in the superstructure.
Managed to 'wiggle' out
Very scary with a hold full of slaves..
