Speak Up for HOTAS Support for Xbox!

It's unfortunate that the this community hasn't been able to play Elite with a HOTAS post reach out to XBOX please be courteous and read the rules before submitting your post ..https://xbox.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/893316

I play on pc myself at first I used a controller and it was fantastic until I purchased my first Hotas the game became just utterly amazing! have two sets of key binding one for a Hotas and one for the xbox controller for when you just want to chill out lay back and do mundane things but I just wish this community best of luck !!

Just saying speak up everyone !

I'm surprised noone has actually made their own. Let's face it, mapping xbox controllers has been a thing for different proggys on computers for a while now.

Although I guess those people may prefer to just play on pc if they already have one :D

I don't think that would be any better than the current bodge-solutions that let you use a PC HOTAS, as you'd still be limited by the actual controls available to the game. It'd be better now than that sort of solution used to be, thanks to the control remapping we now have, but it'd still be far from ideal.

What we need is for Xbox One itself to actually allow HOTAS, so that the full range of controls are available to games such as ED.

Maybe with the Xbox-Win10 convergence it will come...

Has anyone actually counted all the different possible combos with an xbox controller? four main buttons, two joysticks that cover 8 axis (when combined with pressed variants), d pad.. then multiply that by five to cover xyab held variations... Thats an awful lot :)
