PvP Speaking of Piracy

Space life has just been too dull lately, so I strapped some piracy gear onto The General Lee and headed off to Ngalia to spice things up a bit.

Piracy is a hoot, even if it doesn't pay too well (then again, I did make 160k on Indium and got on the low tier of the CG board after my first pull).

I've had 6 customers today. All of them good sports, no combat logging. And folks really are out there escorting each other and making daring escapes.

I tip my hat to...

-The T-10 who graciously conceded to my extortion demands (you put me on the board in the bottom tier :) )
-The AspX who got away (man, you were fast)
-The T-7 who complied with all orders, but had no cargo
-The T-7 and Keelback wing who stood up to me and my Vette equipped wingmate. Great transport and escort job, guys!

And finally... this guy. Man, I want to meet you again some day so you can give me a face full of what-for (somethin' tells me it's coming :D).

I'd say you gave him every opportunity to escape with his life.

You have to give him high marks for determination, even if it doesn't make up for his lack of sense.

Oh, I don't think it was lack of sense. I think it was just raw aggression - he knew he had no chance of winning, but he just decided "screw you and your pirate ship" :)

I would consider that a lack of sense. Or perhaps a better way to put it is "Losing one's head to emotions". I have certainly had those moments in this game, having stuck around in combat I couldn't win on numerous occasions simply because I wanted to make the aggressors hurt as much as possible before they got me. I can't say that I was using sense in those situations.

I don't understand your question?

Of course piracy has seen combat logging. I've had people log on me. No one did today, though; everyone was flying with integrity.

I interdicted that guy 3 times. He kept trying to low wake. I tried talking and giving him advice but he never responded. So I flew backwards right in front of him while he tried to get his FSD to charge. Let him go with 2% hull. Then beat him to the station and made him maneuver by me in the mail slot. Poor little dude.

Ha - well, hopefully he's learning.

Maybe he doesn't speak english? As you can see in the video, I didn't get a peep out of him

Yeah, I asked if he spoke English, but no reply. Tried *alto*... Can't remember pashto or arabic anymore. I think if some dude was kicking the out of me, holds fire before I die, then drifts in front of me and blasts a wall of text in some crazy language, I'd try saying *something*! But, it's hard to remember what it was like being brand new.

Happened to me right out of the gate. Some guy pulled me over in my sidey, started talking to me trying to get my cargo. I didn't know how to work comms... dead in seconds. I swear it was day one.

I'm sure Mouse is learning. He certainly showed a passion for revenge :)
