General Gameplay Special Guests

A similar concept has been mentioned here before, though the focus was more on Jurassic Park/World Characters being in the park. I think more generic fictional types would be more appropriate, with the chance of death not breaking the space-time continuum.

I was thinking that a Guest could come into the park as an event, with the goal being to keep them satisfied. They could have an amount of minimum requirements depending on the island and a specific review bonus.
If their minimum requirements aren't met during their stay then there'd be a small negative effect on park attendance and if their minimum requirements are met then they would give a small boost.
If they were injured or killed, then there would be a large negative effect and potentially higher legal fees.
If their review bonus is met then they would give a boost to park attendance in addition to the effect of their Minimum requirements.
Effects would take place when they leave the park or are injured, though would only have an effect for a certain amount of time.

Potential examples of visitor types:
Critic
Celebrity (larger than normal positive and negative effects)
Picky Guest (not meeting the review bonus has a negative effect)
Minor Royalty (higher than normal legal fees)
Faction Member (effects faction reputation instead of attendance)
Corporate Executive (effects a specific cost inversely, instead of attendance)

Minimum requirements:
Food (Always at least 1 Star service)
Drink (Always at least 1 Star service)
Fun
Shopping
Visibility/No. of Dinosaurs seen
Transport/Walking Distance

Potential examples of a Review bonus:
Specific Store/Attraction
Specific item at store
Below Budget on total purchases
See type of Dinosaur (Small Herbivore, Large Carnivore, etc.)
See Favourite Dinosaur
See any dinosaur with a stat above an amount
See any dinosaur with a specific Skin
See any dinosaur doing a specific activity (drinking, feeding, socialising, running, fighting, etc.)

Another feature that could be considered is the ability to rescue these guests in the Jeep or Helicopter, for in the case that they get trapped in an enclosure. Being able to find these guests on the mini map would also be useful.

I'm not sure what fair and important achievement goals these could achieve for the game's build, especially since this would conflict with save games that players might already have as dream parks or so fourth, unless these kind of events are completely optional as the contracts are in the game. And what progression and achievement goal purposes could this accomplish in-game, more importantly, as almost every major element added to the game has its own importance to gameplay progression, optional or not?

It's a good point you make, this doesn't really contribute to progression, being more just to make things a bit more interesting. I think of it as something you could ignore for the most part, but if you choose to engage with it you could be rewarded.
I'm not sure how it would interfere too much with previous saves though, as I was thinking more along the lines of semi-random events.
I was also only thinking that there would only be one Special Guest in a Park at one time, which would prevent you being overrun.
In terms of being optional I could see it as being completely optional for everything, or as optional for Sandbox and Challenge Mode.
