"Special" weapons (overcharged etc.) too rare

Since Gamma I've only come across one station selling overcharged weapons, and since that one time I've been checking every Outfitting section on every station I've visited, including Hi Tech stations.

Surely the price of these weapons should make availability restricted enough? Why are they so hard to find? As it stands, it's only those who are lucky enough to stumble across them who get to benefit. Please FD, don't make this a case of random luck.

Yes at at least 5 stations... High Tech, high population. And Industrial high population systems.

I saw a couple in gamma in federation space.

Recently... zero in empire space after many dozens of systems and many more stations... and zero on my 250ly voyage from the fringes of federation space down to Empire.

I think they've been removed. I've checked every single station I've docked in for days now (and I'm playing a lot!) and I haven't seen a single class 1 or 2 weapon with a prefix.

I'm beginning to suspect they've been removed to. Or maybe theres a purchase requirement that needs to be met such as faction standing now? (wild speculation!)

I've visited well over a dozen systems, covered every station/outpost in them, high tech/Industry, with anything from 20 million to 100+billion...have seen no rare weapons.

It would be a bit crap if they have been removed(without patchnote), I'd be wasting my limited free time. I hope its not the case.

No really I've never seen any of those since gamma. Would be nice to at least find ANY rare equipment...at all. Well who knows, maybe they'll drop as some form of "loot" from the yet to come Thargoids or somethin (what? a man can have his dreams!)

Found mine in Gamma in Xihe...they sell overcharged multis F1 although they rotate....as for release i have come across overcharged pulse and beamers.... so dont't think they removed them....what i really want to find are slot 3 multies :)

Do they still say overcharged or are the stats and price just different? I for one liked when you could see them and not have to look so closely at the stats.

Wait ... Are you saying this "overcharged" pulse laser I fitted to my Eagle a while back in Gamma is pretty special and I should hang on to it?

I've checked the outfitting screen in every station I've docked at (and I've been to quite a lot of stations), but I've never seen any special weapons.
