Horizons Spectacular improvement of mission board loading times?

I first thought I must be imagining things, but during the past week I noticed an incredible improvement in the loading time of the mission board.
Very often it is even instant, and it never takes longer than a few seconds anymore.

Anybody else experienced this?

This is funny as some other guy just asked if the servers are down again :)

I have also experienced very slow loading times and server problems for a few days now. I wondered if it might be something to do with the Beta testing?.

For those who are having a slow down, try updating your graphics card drivers and other drivers. Sometimes it means you are behind on driver upgrades.

Same at this end in Australia, slow Mission Board, many times without the Caricature pictures and then dropping out, been happening mainly over the last week or two. Although I would like to think it's because of the beta testing, I don't think so as that's on a separate server.

Very annoying indeed.

I'm in Australia and I have always had slow Mission Load Screens. Sometimes the heads are missing for a few seconds after the mission screen loads successfully.
This has never been a driver issue as it is only the mission loading screen that has this issue. If it was drivers it would happen in all ED screens and in other games.

So it´s Australia. I have the same issues in a country near Britain which is by common knowledge not so far away from Australia [hehe]
It´s the servers.

That's utter nonsense, it's a server problem.

Okay. So it is an issue with the server farm's locations and connections tied to your internet provider that is causing the slow-down, maybe you can start an petition to start up an server farm located in Australia and upgrade your local internet provider. Not only will this help resolve the issue of slow server side connections, it would also help your interact with other players from different countries. Reason I suggested maybe it is your drivers for your graphics card, this is a common problem for most people who seem to forget about their graphics cards do need updating from time to time to keep them at pace with the progression of video games. Same goes for DirectX.

For me starting up the mission board is pretty quick, but when I want to accept or hand in missions that is where the board hangs.

Slightly off topic!
The gurus say don't fix it if it ain't broke. Regarding the drivers, it is dicey to upgrade drivers sometimes. I won't update my driver as the only trouble is with ED mission screen.
I can live with that. And to repeat, the internet speed is quite alright in Dubbo, NSW. Australia. I get about 25MB/s.

The problem is NOT your internet connection or drivers (not that drivers have anything to do with it anyway).

The problem is the shared servers the DB is hosted on. I could rant all night about that... * Weapons Extending *
