Speed and banking

Having a blast with the new alpha, but having problems making convincing smooth elements- it takes me forever to make realistic curves..
I remember reading that when B&M started up they used a complex algorithm to calculate the banking of the track based on the speed of the train at that point. The smoothing tool in Planet Coaster is very useful but I was wondering if there were plans to implement something similar to that? Or is that just wishful thinking?

At the end of the day there is No Limits 2 for making super realistic coasters. Plus it is still miles better than the coaster editor in RCT3 no?

Bonus mention of 'it's only alpha, things will improve'. They have to balance their priorities and resources against what will improve the game experience for the most number of users and sometimes hyper realism will have to take a back seat.

For the same reason I doubt there will be custom supports at launch despite lots of people on this forum asking for it. It's probably something that they think the 'casual' player won't be interested in/notice much and their time is better spent on other things for now.

Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. I just know that the technology exists and seeing how powerful the coaster builder already is I thought including it might be a possibility, if not a priority
