Speed run to Sag A

Interested to know if anyone has done a quick time or speed run to Sag A I mean just jump and honk with a few stops for fuel? I'm going 10k out to do neutron and black hole hunting journey going quite quick but im literally avoiding anything that isn't big, earth like, water or interesting looking! I'd like to be back in civilization within 35 - 40 hours of game play this time around.

I know Sag A is a lot further than I'm going!!!!

Top speeds to Sag A* are under 12 hours

Current record is 8:43:43

For us mere mortals, you can pretty much maintain a 1 jump per min avg. x your max jump range and do the math to figure out how long you will take to cover 26KLY.

I know that I can reasonably cover 2K in an hour in my 34LY configures Asp, thus 13 hours of in the seat time without doing anything but jump, scoop, jump is a reasonable estimate to Sag A*

Did the stop on a 2 week tour that ended yesterday.

2314 systems scanned for 72 Mil cr including 628,809 for Sag A*

Highest bonus for first discovered was 31,794 for a massive black hole.

Still about 45 Mil short of Elite for exploration, Currently at Pioneer +55%

I believe there are over 100 who has done exactly what you are asking ;)
I also believe that if you are going with a top of the line Asp or Anaconda you are very likely to reach Sagittarius A* within your parameters (hop - scoop - check for ELW's and hop)
Of course, this is dependant on how many Earth likes you find, and to what degree you are willing to supercruise to get to them ;)

Still, if you think this is too far, I'd recommend the Eagle Nebula. About 7000 LY's and lot's of interesting stuff along the way. Should be very doable.

Good luck :)
