Speeding up the CGs?

How about speeding up the cycling of the CGs in legacy? The current one has been going for some time now, and there aren't a lot of contributors.

Also, how about focusing on the hauling and combat CGs? They tend to gather more players and makes for a fun time for those of us who enjoy tge interaction with other CMDRs in game?
 
The AXCG in legacy has ended allready... it did not last till thursday 22nd and only started Thursday the 15th

The AX CGs are cycled every Thursday and is set up by bots with new hand in locations when the bot generates a new RNG number on the dice roll and is only there for achievement compliance with Microsoft so players can get the points on the players' card for 10 events...
They were scrapped completely and only returned to legacy to keep compliance with the digital token unlock... For both Microsoft and Sony digital token unlock...
They're not there because FDEV want legacy to have them any more they are forced to run them as its cheaper than doing a client update to remove the digital unlock tokens...
Cargo CGs are not automated they require manual human set up unlike AXCG, We know they're human set up due to the mistakes made in Pay out and values over the years that were caused by human typos..

As CGs only returned for digital unlock tokens, there wont be a human used on them, the Bots will run the AXCGs untill those aiming for 10 event unlocks token are shown not to be needed and Microsoft and Sony will allow them to be dropped again... if that happens before Legacy servers are disabled will be seen...

Well so far that looks to be the case, but all respect to Graphite (who posts great stuff on these forums), but in respect to that's all we're going to get and that they're 100% bot created - I'm pretty certain that that is only an educated guess (though indeed possibly right)...

The thing is we haven't had any official word or even announcement about CGs "return" to legacy!

These very limited so far pretty pointless, AX only, CGs just "showed up" back in the game!

They were and have been so strangely "snuck" back into to game, often with such long end dates, yet such low targets, that many people thought they were back due to an unplanned glitch, coupled with the fact that there was no announcement about their return that in particular, there was a thread on CG section of the forums with many people saying "Legacy CGs?! - What's going on, are you seeing this?!"...

After a few days, a community manager commented in the thread saying, "Their return is intentionally and there'll be more details announced about them soon", but we heard nothing more official after that 😯 .

I messaged the particular manager for more details, they said that they had asked a colleague who knew more about their return for more information and they'd get back to us, but never did...

Anyway, long story short, so far Graphite had been right in that we've only gotten seemingly automatic AX only CGs since their return, however since many of us care very little about AX combat, but mostly because many such CGs have ended before most of us could even think about getting involved, I and most other people haven't gone near them.

HOWEVER I hope Graphite is wrong! - I and many others would love to see the return of proper, widely announced and properly organised CGs of all types with realistic targets, even if they were just repeats of existing CGs 😯😀🤘🤞 .

Anyway, for the moment, yes, we only have these weird AX CGs back in legacy, but hopefully that will change very soon! 😀🤘🤞 .

what let the CGs at least run for one or 2 days. I couldn't participate in the last 3 weeks because they disapear so quick. Need 7 to get the last CG achievement. Unfortunatelly 5 of them haven’t been count fone in the past. Don't know why this was happening and now i am stuck at 18 cgs. So please guys let them run at least for one or 2 days.

In my experience the last 4 months, the CG’s have lasted for mostly 24-36 hours.
Last week was the exception, where no goal available. We’ve yet to receive any offical word on why yet. But I’ve been monitoring the CGs on console to a T each week, handing in a measly 320k bonds (2-3 AX scout kills. I’m literally doing the bar minimum to get the Xbox Achievement completed lol) within minutes of the server reset. Last week no goal was present.

FDev appear to start the CG each week already about 80% complete on reset. This reduces the amount of play the community has. But isn’t the leading cause of short CG durations.

The speed at which they complete after that is entirely based on the community. Unfortunately there are some users, likely on PC, who bank bulk bonds throughout the week, then on reset are in a position to immediately hand in. This is why the CG completes so quick.

Our only option is to try out pace them. Bank your bonds. Hand them in early as possible. It’s the only way I’ve managed to complete a goal every week the last 17 weeks (8 more to go until I unlock the Xbox Achievement 😄).

I very much doubt FDev will do anything to help here, they’ve lost all care for console at this point, but what I’d like to see is a bond limit imposed, so no one user can contribute say greater than 500k in a single transaction. This will limit the ability to bank bonds, and force users to have to actually go participate AX combat during the goal window. Might even encourage some more ”community” amongst the console players, as we’ll have to work together to complete the goal each week.
 
Wait, we still havin' CGs on console ???
We are not the bots are and groups that sit on AX combat bonds and log in after thursday restart to jump and hand in AX bonds.
The never fixed the cyclops ganking just makes the legacy version Stupidly quick. They nerfed the pay out on LIVE to reflect how easy the base interceptors are.
