Spending HOURS in anarchy systems. Can't find "seeking weapons" or "convoys" of t-9s for Chemical Manipulators.

Title says it all. Flying around Anarchy "war" and Anarchy "outbreak" following advice from online. Can't find any of these "seeking weapons" spots that are loaded with t-9's or any of the convoy spots either. Nav points have litearlly no T anythings (no t-7 no t-9).

This is stupid.

Where on earth can I find a group of T-9s around to grab some chem manipulators?

I don't understand if you're looking for POIs exclusively? Sometimes it's just easier to find a lone trader in supercruise and interdict him rather than looking for real specific spots in real specific places in real specific situations.

I havent seen any of those since 2.3 dropped, not sure if they still exist.

Easist thing to do is go to a hazres plenty of lakon ships there.

I've gotten all the Chemical Manipulators I've needed from "Combat Aftermath" Unknown Signal Sources in Deciat. All you need to do is fly back and forth between the innermost (1-4) planets and scan USSes. About 20% are CAs and many of those will contain CMs. Arsenic is available on several of the moons. I've done hundreds of level-5 FSD rolls using materials found in Deciat. The only hard part was scanning wakes. For that, you need to find a busy station in some other system, like the Founder's System (Shinrarta Dezra).

Try and look on the galmap or https://eddb.io/system for anarchy "AND" outbreak systems (anarchy govs with outbreak states). There are very few of these but these will have static convoy beacons near planets & stations in where you can attack a whole fleet of T9's without occurring a bounty. Population matters so pick the one with the highest pop, currently HIP 20948 is listed as being the highest current one, also you can try anarchy famine systems as they will have similar beacons (distribution centres).

Just find a res or tourist beacon in anarchy. T9, orca, beluga. Splatter those suckers for being unprepared idiots and collect your loot

Distribution Centres in Famine systems contain 3 t9's. Kill them and relog until you get what you need. I was just in one today (it wasn't Anarchy because I don't really care about that part). Not all Famine systems have them but a lot do.

Filter the map so you only see Famine State. Then find one that is Anarchy, IF it has a Distribution Centre in it you can either scan the departing ships for the Datamined or destroy the T9s for the CMs. Jobs a good 'un.

I generally always carry a bounty. As such, I'm pretty opportunistic while fighting in a HazRes. I *mostly* kill pirates, but if a juicy T-9 drops in he might get smoked if I'm feeling light on materials. It just seems to work a lot better for me personally if I just constantly keep an eye out for the juicy materials rather trying to grind for them at need.

I don't think Seeking Weapons is in the game anymore. I see Convoy Dispersal Pattern USS's all the the time though. I think they're usually in shipping lanes rather than deep space. I'm not entirely sure anarchys are the place to find these either, try some regular systems.

Seems like they moved the drops more towards the combat aftermath signal sources. Maybe to help people who have ethical issues that want good jump ranges. I mean think about how many people with good rolled FSDs who have all that blood on their hands. ��

Chemical Manipulators can be found floating around a Hercules class bulk cargo ship in Oduduro system.
There will be a random selection of materials, so if it's not there just jump into Supercruise and return to reset the instance.

And watch out - you will get scanned by pirates, bounty hunters and cops, so take care if you're Wanted, or carrying cargo.

The system has to have some decent population for them to appear. Go for one with a few millions at least
