Was doing some rescue runs from damaged stations and was thinking that it would be really cool if we had some spinning/rotating rescue ships where you had to match the rotation in order to land on the landing bay
From a lore point of view, we're still using rotation on starports to maintain gravity, so why not a large ships using rotation for gravity as well.
We can also use the same concept on different starport designs. Instead of the usual "going through the mail-slot" design, we could create new and different designs.
Eg, Instead of having the living quarters on the ring of an Orbis, why not put the middle as the living quarters and have landing pads on the outside of the ring where you have to match the rotation speed in order to land.
