Spontaneous controlled-systems?

Err... is it just me or are there sometimes controlled-systems being arbitrarily created by someone/something?

I've been monitoring thargoid systems/contests near the HQ of GoH, Guardains of Harmony, the flagship PMF for Utopia, for many weeks now, and this week, HIP 117229 has just appeared out of nowhere, seemingly. DISTANCE to it, in terms of a alert/invasion cycle threat, is something that we have been monitoring for quite some time now, and the next-closest for many weeks, have been a cluster of 3 systems ; Pegasi Sector LC-U b3-2, Chnemine, and HIP 116542. We were tactically content to be addressing higher population systems, and accept the risk to GoH,.. considering the distance and perhaps higher likelyhood that they might expand into less valuable systems,.. meaning we could aid in defenses to our neighbors as we have been,.. but this week, i log in,.. and wwwwhat?

HIP 117229 has just appeared out of no-where, ALREADY fully controlled, without either the alert phase, nor the invasion phase, to act-on / contest.

Requesting some kind of CHECK please.

AXI records say it was on alert and invasion per normal,.. but i never saw it.

perhaps another instance of coincidental dis-advantageous differences between AmazonAWS servers, and everyone else's. sigh.

nevermind, thanks AXI !

sounds paranoid?

then why did NONE of the maelstroms ARRIVE in Hudson nor Kumo territory?

( when hudsons have a flimsy non-aggression pact / suspended-hostile-relations / whatever )

wouldn't surprise me at all, if a secret pact has been struck between what some thargoids assume represents human-centralized-authority, and hudsons / Earth-centered leadership currently UNDER them,.. to attack the enemies/competitors of the hudsons/federation (and their lackey/non-enemy). i don't care how many people say that's somehow dis-proven from release-notes or some other bull,.. i've experienced far too many coincidental and sometimes quite blatant things that favor the federation, over the years, the most blatant being mission-GIVERS changing just when im about to hand in a mission. this happened not long after i started playing ED, but not far-enough in, that i cared about playing enough, to record it with a screen-capture, if i remember correctly. literally deliberately taking missions of independents, returning after completing them, and finding that the giver, not just the receiver, but the giver, of the mission, had changed. sometimes BOTH giver AND receiver faction, were federation, it was ridiculous. i went and hanged around CZs with one size with a federation loyalist one, waited until it was almost over, pew pew'd a vulnerable ship a few times just before it finished, just-so i could get a big reputation DROP,.. to compensate. ( no need to accuse me of cheating, i had little idea what i was doing back then, and i was still in an ADDER/t7 )

Aaaanyway,.. if that's the case, if the maelstroms are part of some treacherous pact,

presumably the Alliance was not seen as much of an enemy, as the Empire. smaller powers also, if this is so, likely decided upon based on threats to the federation, &or value. LYR copped it quite a bit, but that might be because of perceptions of corporations UNDER & not-under federative control/pressure/political-capital,.. and Groms might've simply contained too many Federation CITIZENS, seeing as though they're still a brand-new power, literally only a few years old.

it would also, diplomatically, be a abuse/breach of whatever trust they would've promised or given assurance TO, whichever thargoid group has ended up coming, i.e. if they could've been concerned that over-time, their faction/sub-civilization could be targeted specifically amongst other thargoid nations, if there are multiple,.. AFTER the backlash, which would ofc unite everyone against the federation.

in other words, a inevitably DIS-honourable move, that such a desperate? gambling? thargoid group, would have to make sure they win,.. since all their eggs are stacked in one basket,.. mm... there would be no going-back from, or similar expressions.

And ugh... can you imagine,.. if that record of the splinter thargoid group,.. that is ESCAPING the stronger one, and has been pushed towards us like cannon-fodder,.. has ITSELF, also now, been given false-promises by a federation/hudsons / bleep-knows-who / the club? conspiracy?

it'd be exploiting an entire mass-refugee movement. despicable. i hope i'm wrong.
