Spotlight button for night building

Night time gets really dark for me, and it's hard to build in the dark.
In RCT3, night time would get a little brighter when you attempted to build. Instead of getting brighter, I have an idea for a spotlight button. I imagine it like a giant tractor beam shining down from the sky to light up the area around the mouse pointer, with an on/off toggle with the push of a button.

i don't know how you managed to get your nights so dark, but for me they're too bright(the moon is lighting up alot). however i agree with darkness on certain moments to make it hard to build. sometimes shadows can mess up a build aswell(noticed this alot with building nature). so +1 on spotlight with toggle, but i'd also looove to have a moon cycle so that it can get real real dark in the game when there's a new moon. this will require you to place some real good lighting making the experience alot more real and believable

Great Idea. I am currently working on the lighting of the dark ride I'm trying to create and it's proving quite difficult to build at night, so that I can see my lighting effects.

Good thinking. It would be nice if the mouse had the option of becoming a little Flashlight that you could turn on or off as needed. That way you could continue building, landscaping or working on light set up.

I have no idea if it's possible but it would be nice.

I think it would be easier if you could turn on an all day/night cycle like RCT3 had.
