Spotlight on the SRV turret

Currently, when in darkness, if you're up in the turret but you aren't pointing it straight ahead you can't actually see what you're shooting at. It would help to have a spotlight added to the turret. It wouldn't need any additional controls or keybindings, simply add it to the current headlight configuration.

That makes an incredible amount of sense.

I've always wanted floodlights around my main ship, too. It actually gets DARK on some planets at eclipse, and it's incredibly atmospheric, unlike the "night" shaders that are not actually night.

This idea sounds way too sensible for FDev, but...

Low beam stays as it is, high beam includes a turret light.

Already got a key bind for it, but no promises or eta's :p

Excellent idea :)

+1 from me.

More lighting on SRV's ( and ships ) would be very useful not to mention atmospheric in certain circumstances.

But it really would be cool on that turret!

+1

Especially when they will fix so that the dark side of planets are actually dark.....

ACTUAL dark isn't good, really. It may sound trite, but you can't see anything.

Now, night vision, and/or AR wireframe overlay out the front window? Yes. Much better.
