I did see a Corvette about one system away from 3447 last night whilst in SC. He was about 3000ls away and turned towards me after about 20 seconds after I'd jumped in. I got interdicted by a NPC before he got to me and later saw him again at the station I was heading for. I did think it odd for a Corvette to be hanging around the starter systems, trading around there isn't that lucrative so maybe it was the guy?

A CORVETTE?!?! Some sad sack is griefing in a CORVETTE? That is terrible. I wonder if that person just hates this game and wants to stop new people from enjoying it, therefor moving on to another game. I was recently shown a Clipper build that is specifically built for the purpose of Ramming, to the tune of about 200 million. Wonder if I could take a Corvette with it. Except I only have 90 million that I was planning on using on a Type-9...no way my iCourier can solo that thing. Apologies.

I get a lot of joy doing this sort of thing in MMO's. I used to play Guild Wars 2 and would give out gold to new players if they could solve my riddles.

I am a very poor bounty hunter in Elite and look forward to dishing out prizes for my space riddles in the future.

You know, I didn't realise how difficult it would be to use Comms to reach out to new players. Because of Power Play, I can't get a message sent off without getting interdicted halfway through!

I (in the PC/Mac version) pop over to LHS 3447 every so often to try and help new players get a better start. I normally dock at Dalton Gateway, and then try and wing up with Sidewinders. As I am hauling in a load of cargo, when I sell it they should then get a decent Trade Dividend. The problem is that new players can be so sceptical!
