I dunno, feel a bit skeptic on this, must be watching a video or maybe using phone as a monitor (I dunno if it’s possible but who knows)

I doubt the iPhone even has the power to play this game on its lowest settings

Yes, through the PC. I am not talking about a video clip, but you can use your phone as a monitor and play ED on the phone in a similar way you can use VR with your phone on ED. I don't see why you would want to do that personally.

I know a guy that did this for a different MMO. He set up a VM using AWS and then accessed it remotely via his phone. I would suspect this is something similar.

I did it on my Google Nexus - Played the game in VR that is! But the program I used will also display the game in full screen mode too.

That's a shame. If you could run ED on one of those Fisher Price phones you could run it on anything. Nice to dream for a moment.

Remember playing Elite on my 48k Spectrum. Loved every minute of it.

If FDev made Elite Dangrous for phone, I'd buy it. Even if it didn't include Horizons. If it allowed me to use my PC/Mac account, and had VR support - well no brainer IMO. We can hope.

Something has to give - I upgraded from a gtx970 because it struggled with elite in VR, it'd have to be one heck of a phone to trump the 970 series for gaming gpu power. Never know, it might be released for iOS 23?
